Fluffy Red Robin

It may seem strange to be creating Christmas cards in March, but the way
this year is rushing by it will be December before we know it.

I am on the Fat Cats Card Corner design team, and this card was created to show
the versatility of the Marianne Folding Lace Square die, which I attached to the
card horizontally after removing the back panel of the die-cut.

As is usual, the brilliant sparkle of the glitter does not show up,
although I took many photos from various angles.

Challenges I would like to enter
52 Christmas Card Throwdown - 'Embossing Folder Background'  HONOURABLE MENTION
Crafty Hazelnuts Christmas #430 - Always Christmas (optional Christmas song/carol) (In the Bleak Mid Winter)
Holly and Ivy #45 - 'Anything Christmas Goes'  TOP 5
Jingle Belles - 'Rockin' Robin'

This crazy weather continues...here in Australia we are more than 3 weeks into autumn, yet we are still experiencing temps in the mid 30s C., with very 'warm' nights, making sleep difficult. I am so over the heat, and having said that I am off to change into some lighter clothes.

Until next time, thank you for visiting.
Hugs,
Jennifer.  xx

Sympathy Card

Hello fellow crafters,
Recently, I found out that a friend's father had passed away. He was in his nineties, and until a few months ago, when he was diagnosed with cancer, he was very active and independent, so I suppose it was a blessing that he did not suffer for an extended time.
I believe sympathy cards are difficult for most of us to make, especially when they are for friends. I always like to keep these cards fairly simple, with a minimum of embellishments.

For this one, I used 'Birds and Swirls' embossing folder. However, I do not know the brand. I did not photograph the inside, as it is the same as the front, without the sentiment. By omitting the sentiment, there was sufficient space on the blank area to write my personal message to my friend.

Thank you for visiting,
Hugs,
Jennifer. x
