Black Cats

July and Christmas are my two busiest periods of the year, and this July

seems to be busier than ever. Added to the usual frenzy has been a week

away to travel to Lismore for a nurses' reunion and a visit to my dear 

friend in Tenterfield. We have been friends for an amazing 54.5

years! I had a wonderful time, reliving old memories, 

while laughing and eating way too much.

One annual July event is my dear John's birthday, so this is the card I made for him.

We both love cats, and of course music, so I incorporated both into the card. I think 

this little kitty is singing 'Happy Birthday' to John. For the background, I sponged

a stencil with Distress Ink.

Such a happy little kitty! In retrospect, I think I should have added

some pink cardstock behind his ears?
