Brown Suit

Hello to all the bloggers out there. I hope you are still staying safe
in these uncertain times.

Earlier this year, I saw a die-set in a Stampin' Up catalogue but completely
dismissed it with "I'd never use that set"......how wrong can one be???

When I saw some cards recently on Pinterest using the dies I purchased the set
from a Stampin' Up demonstrator who lives in our retirement village, and
became instantly 'hooked'.  It is such a versatile set, so I made quite a few
cards of various styles...some for men and boys, and some for ladies.

Challenges I would like to enter:-
Die Cut Divas - 'Anything Goes'
NBUS #31 - 'Anything Goes'
The Sisterhood of Crafters - 'Happy Birthday'

Die Set - Stampin' Up Suit and Tie Dies
Punches - Stampin' Up Oval Plain and Scalloped Duo; EK Success Small Circle
Colouring - Promarker Almond (for neck)
Sentiment - Stampin' Up Peaceful Moments stamp set
Cardstock, striped paper, and glitter card (tie-pin) - from my large box of snippets and off cuts

Just a quick post on this cool and overcast day.

Until next time,
Hugs,
Jennifer.  xx

  1. WOW you're right ... I would have passed this up too but SO glad you've shared just how fabulous a card can be made using it! LOVE the gray suit and the tie/pocket patch are perfect! Well done! 2. This is a super masculine card and die cutting is always a good way to use up your snippets!

  3. What a great card Jennifer - super-realistic as well! I know several male family members who are perfect recipients for a card like this. That's the problem with running the Snippets Playground - i see far too many lovely goodies and end up buying them! It looks like your first visit to the Playground - welcome! Have added myself as a follower and hope you come back again really soon!

  4. Hmmm, I think you might have sold a few of these sets with this post, Jennifer! What stands out the most with this stunning suit design is how very crisp and clean it is! That shirt is amazing and I love the subtle texture of the jacket! Thank you for sharing with everyone at NBUS! Hugs, Darnell
