Gold and White Folding Card

Happy Easter to all out there in 'blogland'. Hopefully the weather
is as lovely wherever you are as it is here in this corner of 'Oz'.

No, you are not seeing things...just to confuse you I thought that as it is
Easter day I would show you a Christmas Card. I made it as part of my
DT commitment to Fat Cats Card Corner, but forgot it was in my 'drafts'.

A closer look at the flower, cut free-hand, and the pretty
die cut foliage, both of which I brushed with 'Star Dust' Stickles.

I love this die cut greeting by Sue Wilson.

Dies - Marianne Creatables Design Folding Lace Square; Creative Expressions Sue Wilson Festive Mini Expressions; Creative Expressions Sue Wilson Passion Flower (flower centre)
Gold cardstock - Couture Creations A4 Textured Mirror Board
Glitter - Ranger Stickles Star Dust

Enjoy your Easter break, and if you are travelling, please be safe. I'm off now to attack the chocolate egg that the Easter bunny left last night.

Until next time, thank you for visiting,
Hugs,
Jennifer.  xx

Heroes Without Capes

Here we are again, the second Wednesday of the month. You know what that
means...it's time for another challenge at Words 2 Craft By.

In the U.S. (home of W2CB), National Super Hero Day is on April 28,
so to honour all non-caped heroes in our communities, our quote this month
is a fab one by Gerard Way...
"All the best heroes are ordinary people who make themselves extraordinary"

I can think of so many people about whom this quote could apply, not least
nurses, paramedics, doctors and 'fireies'.

I have had this digi image for several years, and thought it would be
perfect for this challenge.

Now wouldn't a home visit by this little guy cheer you up no end??
I just adore the look on Clyde's face.

Colouring - Promarkers
Die - Spellbinders Classic Rectangle
Paper - DCWV Citrus (8" x 8" pad)

For a chance to win a great prize pop over to Words 2 Craft By, check out my teamies' creations, then enter your own interpretation of our current quote.

Until next time, thank you for visiting,
Hugs,
Jennifer.  xx

Yellow and Green Spring

I see that I have some new followers, so welcome to my blog.
Thank you very much, and I hope you enjoy your journey with me.

Although it is difficult to believe, we are now in the month of April.
Here in Australia we are well into autumn, therefore our northern
hemisphere friends are enjoying spring.

This is yet another card I made for Fat Cats Card Corner, where I am a design
team member. Yellow is not a colour I use very often, but for some reason
it does remind me of spring (perhaps because of daffodils??).

My previous card used part of the Marianne Folding Lace Square die set, and
this card uses some other dies in the set, thus displaying the set's versatility.
It can be purchased at Fat Cats Card Corner.

A closer look at the foliage and flowers which I lightly sponged
around the edges with distress ink.

Challenges I would like to enter
Fabrika Fantasy #29 - 'Flowers'

Dies - Marianne Design Creatables Folding Lace Square; Creative Expressions Sue Wilson Passion Flower, Creative Expressions Sue Wilson Frames & Tags Isobel  (Sentiment)
Ink - Distress Ink Peeled Paint

Until next time, thank you for visiting,
Hugs,
Jennifer.  xx
