Thank You Poppies

When we went to Sydney recently on business, I did not want to drive in the CBD
as there are so many major road closures and detours so we decided to travel by
train. A neighbour drove us to the station, so to say "thank you" I made him this
card to accompany a bottle of 'red'. He loves a good red wine.

It may seem strange to make a floral card for a man, but as Len loves his garden
I thought a floral card would be appropriate.

I have had this die for many years, and have hardly ever used it.

I shaped the two poppy blooms with a ball tool, and attached them
with a pop dot to give them more dimension. To give the buds the
appearance of just beginning to open, I cut tiny wedges of red
card from scraps and attached them over the green buds.

Challenges I would like to enter
Die Cuttin' Divas #349 - 'Thank You'

Dies - Memory Box Prim Poppy; Cuttlebug With Gratitude

Tomorrow I am rostered on at the Fort all day, so must go to bed to try to get some sleep. I will try to show you another Thank You card tomorrow night, so until then.......

"Happy crafting",
hugs,
Jennifer. xx
