Pastel Flowers

Here we are, at the end of January already...quite scary, isn't it!

The card I have to show you is one I made for Lyndal, our lovely receptionist/
administration lady here at The Grange. No matter what the situation or enquiry
is, Lyndal always has a happy smile for everyone.

I wanted the card to be soft and gentle (like Lyndal), and this is about as CAS
as I can create. I removed the pale green flower 'petals' from the die-cut which
I placed inside the card, and placed them inside the cream die-cut on the front.

I layered the die-cut greeting, slightly off-setting the green layer
which I have previously coated with Stickles.

Inside the card is the pale green die-cut from which I removed the
flower 'petals' for the die-cut on the front.

For so long now, so much of Australia, particularly the east coast, has been in the grip of a dreadful drought, so we have been desperately hoping for rain. However, we just want the rain and clouds to wait a couple of days, as a rare celestial event is to take place tomorrow night...a Super Blood Blue Moon. This has not occurred for almost 150 years, and Australia is said to be one of the best places on earth to view this momentous event.

Today, as has been the case for several weeks, has been very hot and windy (I have had the worst hay fever I have had in many years as a result), so I will say good afternoon for now, and go and take the washing off the clothesline, then start dinner.

Thank you for visiting,
Hugs,
Jennifer. xx
